So let's get on with it. We must put the case for Brexit anew. We must take nothing for granted. It doesn't matter what we do with the money. We can put it in the NHS or buy pink elephants with it. The point is it's hard working British peoples' money and it should be spent on them. The EU is not democratic. The people who run it are oligarchical despots - and not benevolent ones either. Paying all this money for "free trade" - what a contradiction in terms! And who benefits? Not the ordinary people who stump up the cash! And why, for this "free trade" do we have to let Brussels/ Strasbourg (EU have two Parliaments) make 59% of our laws? How does that work? Well, it doesn't. We only rubber stamp their commands in our Parliament. We are vassals and our Parliament is a puppet EU...
Of Helicopters and Humans- A Mental Midget Part 3:   Moggy on Parade        If you remember, when we were bratty kids, like, last week or so, we at some stage discovered a funny drawing. Every healthy kid does it at some stage.  Kind of a rite of passage. If you never drew something like this, you were either raised in a...
The Mind of a Midget Part 2:  Moggy, the Comforter        I have tried hard in my little life to understand things.  People, Belief Systems, the Meaning of Life. You know, trivial stuff like that. I've discovered long ago that I'm not real good at it. At all. I am often and intensely non-plussed by what goes on in the world,...
Of Helicopters and Humans (30) ???? "A Mental Midget"   or     "Moggy on Fire"      I'm not very bright. I've re-discovered this fact numerous times. As one of my friends at University in Ireland apparently remarked, a long time ago: "Francis? Oh, not a bad bone in his body;  just a...
A Blip on the Radar (42B) Part 2:  The Peacemaker who tried          Our net boat bumped against the hull of the purse seiner, and a sailor, alerted by the noise of our arrival, poked his head over the side. He recognized me. I had worked a three month vacation spell there, covering for the resident pilot going on vacation. (see...
THE PEACEMAKER WHO TRIED - Part 1 Part 1:   Three Little Words      I don't like fighting.   It seems such a primitive, savage, somewhat crude pastime. Whether it be physical, emotional, psychological or the result of business competitiveness taken to the extremes of what Testosterone charged males are capable of, I find it...
